National Child Protection Seminar |
Closing the Gap – The Pragmatic Practitioner 20th of May 2010, Park Inn, Cardiff |
We aim to
Get back to basics and bring together the outcomes and learning from recent and past child abuse fatalities to alert practitioners and managers to the common mistakes and practice issues for improving partnership working.
Acknowledge and identify the importance of integrated family support systems and how this creates an opportunity to close partnership gaps.
Provide and debate an update on the new outline proposals from the Law Commission and the practice impact this could have on Children's Services in Wales.
Share and identify the Welsh Assembly commitment to Child Protection in Wales and partnership working in practice. |
